Already planning to come back
This place is truly serene. Loved the food here and more importantly the calming atmosphere. The endless views of mountains, and forests, the most amazing pool and rooms are brilliant. Undoubtedly value for money. Definitely worth it.
Living heritage was a fantastic find, the suites are superb, staff excellent and food fabulous. A very elegant and authentic small hotel set within large grounds and marvellous infinity pool. A walk through the grounds to the spectacular waterfall and natural pools was lovely. A gem of a place.
Tasteful paradise in the Sri Lankan jungle
I loved my two-day stay at this hotel. It’s a beautiful oasis in the midst of, and in harmony with, a thick forest with gorgeous mountaintop views. I stayed in a villa — they are superbly well decorated, with polished concrete floors, well-chosen antiques and an amazing indoor courtyard that’s open to the sky. There’s a porch out front with comfy chairs from which you can gaze at the view, a tasteful outdoor dining area and my favourite bit, the infinity pool overlooking a lush valley. The manager, Carrim, was attentive and very helpful. I would love to return and stay for longer.
Authentic Sri Lankan hideaway in the mountains
With an abundance of wildlife and forest surrounds, this elegant and authentic Sri Lankan getaway offers superb hospitality along with seamless access to a secluded natural waterfall and swimming holes. In addition, the infinity pool showcases an extraordinary outlook over Sri Lanka’s highland forests. Rochan is an engaging host who looks after your every holiday want. We regret our inability to stay longer.
Magnificent place, higly recommended
We spent 2 nights in this beautiful small hotel during our family holiday in Sri Lanka (2 parents and 2 young adult children). We had a great time in Koslanda!
First of all, I really loved the spacious and beautiful rooms. The concept of the rooms gives an enormous feeling of rest and peace! The pool is also a very quiet and relaxing place, and the view from the pool is fantastic. We walked to the waterfall and had a great time swimming there. We also had a private cooking class during lunch time, we cooked our own Sri Lanka Curry! The food at Koslanda is very good. The personel is higly qualified, kind and helpful. We also appreciated the contact we had with the manager, who is always available for help and advice. All questions and requests are answered on the spot! The small scale of the Koslanda concept highly contributes to the familiar and relaxing atmosphere, the “hidden luxury” and high standards. We higly recommend this place!
